Product Reviews on Toshiba Mini NB255-N245

By ” Donald “   This is the first time I bought a cheap computer in my life. This is my seventh computer and I can say that this was a good performance for a low prices laptops.
I use it at school and work as a paramedic and works well. And ‘useful in my work. It is also resistant to scratches, the first thing I did not dress, shiny skin, which I hate, because I did not like scratches. The speaker is too small for this laptop, I did not like. I also put in games like fate. Ihave tried to no more games in it, because this is not a PC game. Battery life is pretty good in school longer and work.

Product Reviews on Toshiba Mini NB255-N245

By ” C. Lee “   Let’s get real here. Netbooks are not a substitute for those of you that people should be spending on a notebook. Once in possession of at least four Toshiba notebooks in the past and currently on my first Sony laptop, I expect these machines to do the heavy lifting … Photoshopping serious, DV editing, CAD modeling, rendering, game moderated, etc. What would be irresponsible as inadequate Netbook found in these functions. In this sense, the Toshiba NB305 N440-filling is a very useful role forThose of you who already have a notebook for all purposes or desktop seed in the background.

Toshiba Netbook three pounds and the size makes it incredibly agile, manageable and put away. Grab her by the hand circulation only, attach the hinges, or with a shovel from the bottom, there is the construction feels sturdy and solid, if not fallen to worry about something that kind of abuse. You pay for existing laptop users, never feeling that 80% of yourbackpack to carry around that bohemoth … Or how about trying to use a 15 “screen on the tray in the dining section of a flight of livestock economy? Especially if you only use a few paragraphs for a meeting, class, or composing e-mail rant? The remedy NB305 netbook exactly. The 10.1 “screen, you can easily be folded away from you, even if the passenger in front to stay the decision lying down during flight. Size and weight. Advantage? Netbook. (more…)

Product Reviews on Canon PowerShot A490

By ” E. HESSE “   GORGEOUS This camera takes pictures, but battery life really sucks! I bought the camera as a gift and my mother loves him, but she says, “I have about 50 batteries when I wear out. … This part is sad but the pictures are amazing!

Product Reviews on Canon PowerShot A490

By ” CarolB “   So far we are pleased with this camera. It does not come with a card, so be ready.
It ‘s small and has a handy bag door, lighter than our previous fees.
And the photos are beautiful.

Product Reviews on Canon PowerShot A490

By ” H. Ma “   The irony in the camera is in the world, the least expensive Digital Camera, the better the image quality. This is, at least in my case. For years, I have the cameras following the order of holding their prices:
Canon A490 ($ 95) (5 stars)
Canon XSI ($ 612) (5 stars)
Canon T2i ($ 849) (4 stars)
Nikon D70 ($ 1000) (4 stars)
Canon 50D ($ 1110) (3 stars)

Unfortunately, the order of the image quality is exactly the opposite — Canon A490 is the best (five stars) and Canon 50D is the worst.

You neverA490 complain. Too bad I can not post here the breathtaking photos with my A490, which will be bought recently from Amazon. (more…)

Acer Aspire AS5741Z-5539 Laptop

Acer Aspire AS5741Z-5539 Reviews

Product Reviews on Acer Aspire AS5741Z-5539

By ” PointLisse “   I’ve been using this laptop for about a week and overall I am very happy with this purchase. The machine is fast, the screen is looks amazing (glossy, FYI), very bright and no dead pixels. Another plus is that there was not excessive bloatware on this unit, and I only had to remove a handful of trial software, un-needed apps and desktop shortcuts to clean it up. The speakers sound good, and HDMI out is a nice option (though we’re unlikely to use it). I like, too, that the outside of the case is matte, so it does not attract fingerprints.

I removed one star for two key reasons:

- The keyboard is “soft”; we’re clicky-keyboard family. It’s layout is fine, comfortable, etc, but it will take some time to adjust to the softness of this keyboard.
- I was unable to connect to my 5GHz wireless N network, but a few comments about this:

I have a dual-band router (Linksys WRT600N), sending both G and N speeds separately. This Acer Aspire was unable to connect to the N, but the G connection was fine. Note that my work laptop connects to the N network without issue. I think it may have to do with a newer wireless chipset in this unit because, although it only connects to G, it’s reporting speeds of 130mbs (over the 54mbs 802.11G standard). Regardless, we’re happy with the wireless performance and speed so far, but disappointing and frustrating it didn’t “just work”.

I tried contacting Acer support and though I only had the unit less that week, they stated that they did not have resources to assist me with this problem and directed me to fee-based support. Frankly, I find that a bit appalling. I happen to be fairly technical, but if you need basic support from a company, it’s best to look elsewhere. This was the main reason for the star coming off.

In summary, if you need an affordable, full-featured laptop, this is a great option, but only if you’re comfortable digging out of your own support holes — Acer is not your friend post-sale. Extra props to Amazon (as always) for crediting me when the price dropped prior to my receiving the computer. (more…)

Product Reviews on Toshiba Satellite L645D-S4036

By ” J. Shariat “   The triple-core Phenom processor at 1.8 GHz II is a powerful and economical choice for a type of desktop replacement notebooks. This computer is regularly 3.5 hours of battery only with the screen brightness turned a bit ‘. I like it.

The graphics card is an ATI Radeon 4250, what it is, but the M880 chipset for their power is beyond the power of the Radeon 4250 marked as such. When I saw the GPU benchmark, which has been consistently M880 chipset Radeon 4250 examined the half spacePack, above the ATI Radeon HD 5145

This Laptop is nice and portable and the size is perfect to take with me. The screen is small, where we saw no problem with creating for me, I’m really enjoying the fact that is shorter and I can cradle in my lap Completely and totally comfortable.

The keyboard has a full numeric keypad, but this does not bother me much. The keys did not feel loose at all, I really like. I’m still getting usedthe position of some of my main used early, particularly backspace, but certainly leave enough. For The trackpad is not bad, but you can change. An important issue that I noticed is that the webcam drivers are so outdated that the webcam is not working when I first saw the computer. I tried to update and I was told that this is already the latest driver available, but it did not work. I ended up removing a whole and the computer restarts and it workswell now. Just a word of warning for those looking for this: the camera, a second operation to have it set correctly. There is nothing wrong and there are guided tours to explain all on the Internet on how to do it. (more…)

Fujifilm FinePix XP10 Waterproof Camera

Fujifilm FinePix XP10 Reviews

Product Reviews on Fujifilm FinePix XP10

By ” S. D. Farver “   I searched the reviews for waterproof cameras before deciding on this little beauty for our adventure in Alaska.
I wanted something that is completely waterproof, shockproof, and freeze-proof and can take in your pocket (as well as pictures in decent shape). For many times I lost shots because my camera was safely stowed in a dry bag. Looking after our holiday shots are very excited about my purchase! After a very satisfied client Canon for a number of years, I had initiallyseemed like the D10, but if I met a fellow traveler with the D10, I was even more convinced, I bought the car right (it was a bit ‘thicker than Fuji).

Product Reviews on Fujifilm FinePix XP10

By ” Jesse San Nicolas “   Well, I was looking for a camera for the pool and the beach, so I could picture my son of 1.5 years old and my beautiful girlfriend and not wet the camera and ruined concerns.

So I read many reviews on Amazon.com, and thought it was better than any camera waterproof features / price / good review criteria I have for them. I ended up buying B & H because it is super low price, lower than any other comparison with the expense of Google.

So I have the cameraIn a few days in the mail and do not expect much .. took them out of the box up in the battery, took a few test shots and BAM! Wow I was surprised. The camera feels very, very stable and solid. Do not feel cheap at all. It has a nice weight. And the picture looked great in the host. I did not expect to take such good shots of the interior, so I was very impressed. So, our vacation in Myrtle Beach I started no pictures left and right, up and down, and this Waterproof Camera, Disappoint. (more…)

Garmin nüvi 3750 Portable GPS

Garmin nüvi 3750 GPS Reviews

Product Reviews on Garmin nüvi 3750 GPS

By ” Sherwin Lee “   I have this phone for Garmin in the past weeks and I like it. Everything about this phone works great. It is a well made and designed phone that all my personal and business and handles. The GPS is amazingly accurate. large images for SMS, email, surf the Internet, write notes, download applications, music and photos and video. Wi-Fi and has a very strong signal for calls. The screen size is perfect and the images are sharp Razer. As you can tell they are reallyEnjoy this smart phone. I took a very wise decision to purchase the Garmin Portable GPS.

Product Reviews on Garmin nüvi 3750 GPS
By ” Byron Walter “   First of all, is that the small screen is easy to see on The 3750 on a sunny day. Which currently can not read the text and see the maps. This certainly was not the case four years with my Nuvi 350 and the flat form factor makes it easy to fall into a pocket. These two points alone make this a major upgrade of my 350th geriatric There is also a taking speakers with decent volume in the windshield integrated Itty Bitty by 3750 speakers.

And they kept my voice as an Australian Karenbeyond.

Now some points to cruise around my area-based … The 3750 seems way too little to the right of direct routes like the most. During a recent test, the unit gave me nearly a mile of my road for seven miles around. Well, it was seven miles, but the Nuvi has sent me eight miles. Tried to avoid traffic lights? I have no idea, but the trip lasted about seven minutes longer. My old 350 has never gone rogue with route calculation (well was that the ForestStreet, which once).

Another point is that 3750 will last up to four hours on its internal battery. Even in backlight set at 10%, so I get less.

Garmin also includes even a cheap vinyl case. I raised five U.S. dollars a Tom Tom case, its fine “in a free form.

The only manual with my Nuvi a quick start booklet micro more or less their own devices leave was to discover things. Fortunately, most of the functionsSelf-explanatory.

Garmin also has a hard disk that is smooth on one side and sticky on the other. This allows me to mount the unit in an unused part of my car on the screen and hold the GPS information Outta Sight by anyone with itchy fingers (and no, I do not leave unattended assembled by me).

Somehow I like the device but wonder if its routing software needed, could be a little ‘fiddling. (more…)

ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1201PN-PU17-BK Reviews

Product Reviews on ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1201PN-PU17-BK

By ” George W. Harvey “   I gave it five stars, not because I thought it was perfect, but rather as an engineer, I is the best you can do, and is a great little laptop.
The display is very good and performance is what you expect from the processor.
Cons:
Battery life is short, perhaps three hours watching the videos.
You can not replace the hard disk. I wanted to replace it with an SSD, but I could not figure out how to disassemble, and I was able to make any statement on the Webit.
I bought this for my daughter, I want someone else to buy for me, and I recommend it to anyone who wants this class of ASUS Netbook.
Oh, I forgot, I wiped windows and installed Ubuntu Lucid, 64-bit desktop (not Netbook Edition). Everything seems to work well.

Product Reviews on ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1201PN-PU17-BK

By ” Jane Austen “   Beautiful screen, excellent graphics, fast and simple, full-size keyboard! My husband and I already have two Netbook Acer Aspire, but for something a bit ‘bigger and faster with an HDMI connection, so we connect our BigScreen HDTV to a computer for viewing occasionally. Lets face it, many of us have our biggest and most powerful desktop next to our big TV and certainly do not want to be transferred. After much research, we decided to go for this Asusthe power and graphics capabilities and we are thrilled. We have seen several HD shows downloaded from Amazon and the image was fantastic! It ‘was pretty easy to configure and there were no points of light. (more…)

HP 2710m 27-Inch LCD Monitor

HP 2710m LCD Monitor Reviews

Product Reviews on HP 2710m LCD Monitor

By ” A. Pingol “   This monitor has very high brightness, excellent contrast static, good black levels and bleeding down (once you turn on the backlight), and excellent color rendition and saturation, in part thanks to the glossy display (less transmission loss and scattering light compared to a plot and dull display). Fortunately, not pixels, one dead, hot, or stuck on this huge screen. HP declares a 92% NTSC color gamut, and it shows really – not many LCD Monitor consumption in this price range you can say the same thing. Perspectiveare surprisingly good for a TN panel and reaction time is fast, even with overdrive turned off (which is by default, and for good reason – see below). Monitor looks great, consistent with a relatively thin glossy black bezel and a matte silver minimalist. While the state may seem small, it is robust enough and takes constant monitoring, and also offers tilt and swivel. Has an ambient light sensor as well, but I leave it off. Also has a high dynamic contrast, but do not knowmuch of this “feature”.

Note that this monitor calibration must be seriously out of the box. HP declares a 92% NTSC color space (which is quite big – even bigger than AdobeRGB, which itself is much larger than sRGB) but you have to do some ‘work to the advantage. In addition, the lighting takes a little ‘warm up – not only in brightness, but in both color (it starts with a terrible green cast, and heat slowly over the next 10 minutes or so).The function of pixel overdrive is disabled by default, and I recommend you continue. It makes a difference, while, albeit small (I could only observe their performance in tests of calibration), but the surplus is too extreme for everyday use (such as closing a window in Vista / 7 activates fade-out effect, OverDrive will overcompensate and there will be a “negative” the window to see the flash for a short time, ie exceeding [the end of the transition.]) readability of the texts verydepends on your setting for the sharpness, but not be perfect, given the relatively low PPI, and a more delicate matter, a major oddity with this:

There is no option to disable the edge enhancement! With a digital input (DVI / HDMI), you get a perfect 1:1 pixel mapping. Any adjustment in focus “will only worsen the picture. This monitor offers a scale of 1-5 sharpness control, 1 and 2 are useless (bordering on vague) to 5 (sharpness presses artificial eye). The ideal setting is 3-4, with three visible too soft, and 4, a bit ‘too hot (calibration model visualization, such as those relating lagom.nl, will prove this). This is an important issue that I hope HP addresses, none of my other displays (laptop displays from low-cost and high-end desktop monitors) have this problem – when the fire is out, you should see it clearly, and of course sharply ( assuming a DVI / HDMI), and calibration tests with flyingColors, unfortunately we can not say HP for this display. It is a matter of personal taste, if you set 3 or 4, but keep in mind nor “right.”

With respect to calibrate this monitor so that the backlight to warm up for at least 1 hour before the first adjustment, then re-calibrate one week later, after the backlight has more time to burn tools as lagom.nl in conjunction with the display video software to adjust the individualchannels of RGB range (they are all far too low set, Especially the red channel, rule field), and controls the monitor white point (color custom) and contrast. The display began clipping lights and shadows to sell 70 contrast, could more or less depending on the graphics card (re-use calibration samples!). By default, the backlight is set to 90 – which is terribly bright adjust to taste. For the good of life of the backlight and the retina, is set to 100Note that start is set too low to be sacrificed to contrast and saturation.

All in all, best bang for the buck to monitor this. Despite Niggle D minor: sharp, not at all disappointed with the purchase and recommend to the displays. The color and contrast mindblowing far outweigh its shortcomings, and you will eventually get used to the sharpness of strange (more…)

Acer TimelineX AS3820T-5246 Reviews

Product Reviews on Acer Aspire TimelineX AS3820T-5246

By ” Elbert B. Kaguyutan “   When you receive the package, I calculated it immeadiately. Then downloaded all the programs I needed to replace my old laptop four years. for the entry with the Internet company that started (my fault b / c I forgot to set the pace). After my set-up was finished, I love it!

My soul purpose for writing is the timeline. But I need to bring your laptop in different places and interview clients. And this “dream” laptop is a pleasure sure. The processing speed is fast for whatI do. The downloads are fast. And the greatest …. this laptop is not more like my old HOT. So, I’m abandoning the “lap” top-cooler! Allowed me to roam freely.

Battery life is excellent! I surfed the internet for more than two hours (from the power supply disconnected) before coming to write this post, my ad showwing 90% … 8 hours left! WOW! Sure, I have some tweaking to the display and power settings. But still, eight hours after two hours of surfing the Web …. I love this notebook left!

NowThe downside. If you are looking for web cam with this laptop, you will be disappointed. You must be the right lighting. Or the lamp may encounter when you are inside. I set the camera to a certain extent, but the quality was not there. But as I mentioned before, the goal is soul in writing.

PRO: Lightweight, battery life!
CONS: The quality of the webcam.

If something should occur in the near future, I add to my post.

I propose that the HighTime Line X for all that is in my position.

Product Reviews on Acer Aspire TimelineX AS3820T-5246

By ” Damian Ross “   This Acer Aspire TimelineX has seriously impressive speed, power, portability and battery life in two weeks I had been shown. And ‘lighter and runs cooler than my 2 years, black 13-in MacBook Pro, and it took about 3.5 hours of moderate use (web browsing software installations +), to reduce the battery to 50%. And ‘super fast even when they are on the Internet, music and installation of programs simultaneously.

I also accidentally put the computer through a heavy burdenAudit, which came in an impressive way: I was installing a program (from a legitimate manufacturer that shall remain nameless) and out-of-control about 40 went to open the browser window, and yet it is not the computer! crash He was obviously the CPU and memory to handle all these processes, until I finally be able to use the Task Manager to see him on purely

This laptop is not without some minor errors. The trackpad can not be as sensitive as I would multi-gestures. Like otherCritics have talked about and not the webcam quality is great. And of course there are some unwanted programs pre-installed that I decided to remove. Personally I think her performance more than makes up for these deficiencies.

The lack of an integrated optical drive is a small inconvenience, but nothing to overcome an external hard drive and an optical drive emulator can not. The only thing I really miss from the Mac OSX native support multiple desktops (although apparently there is no free downloadsavailable, too) … Windows 7 in some way comparable to any other functions that I regularly on a Mac. Samsung EX2220X Reviews

Product Reviews on Samsung EX2220X

By ” Julia Andrews “   Let me say that my husband and I are mature, “even in dog years. Hardcore gaming will not happen for us.

Last summer I decided that our 15-inch CRT monitor to a manageable size update widescreen flat. I know this has a small screen by today’s standards, but it works well within the limits of space allotted, a photo with great details and colors that shot Our brains befuddled old man. Love the price and reliability. It ‘was a great buyus.    Highly recommended!

Product Reviews on Samsung EX2220X

By ” Ro9ue “   This is a fantastic monitor. Great for a LCD Monitor (which * can work to his disadvantage, as I will explain in a moment), thanks to the super cool and efficient LED backlight clear and beautiful images. Excellent for watching movies, but rip most high-performance PC games at this point the native resolution of 1920 x 1080 (and no, I’m pretty sure that’s not my graphics card). I run most games in windowed mode, which works so well. The monitors are always too big to handle for computers at affordable prices, it seems!Haha

Overall, big monitor. In addition to full-screen bit screen-tearing, is love. Thanks, Samsung. (more…)
