The GPS is fantastic, the appearance and softness of the iPhone is the superb sensitivity of the screen. I did an upgrade from Garmin 855, which has similar properties, but it was sometimes frustrating to use. The cards are great, voice command function is functioning properly and even though my family is from Europe (English is not the strongest language is used. Finally, I live in the Greater Boston area, and go to town once in a while. The setillites not be lost if all the tall buildings around.This is amazing, my other Garmin GPS always diversion in low-rise skyline, the DC-area traffic. The 800 x 480 pixel screen is incredibly clear glass plate and a huge improvement over my old unit. Multi-Point screen works great. Everything about the 3970 is an improvementfrom the old 760th
An interesting point is the 3790 collection is the way to something different paths 760. I assume this is the nuRoute / traffic trends in action.
Hands is my favorite feature Voice Command on 3790 fund. When I bought this book, I was initially worried how well would this feature. Allow me tell you, it works great. I can navigate a path, add stops or make a call without stopping or take my hands off the wheel. What a huge safetyImprovement.
Another seemingly small improvement, I like that the zoom. The map will zoom in as you slow down and, as you accelerate. It makes it very smooth and offers the perfect amount of data for my taste.
Traffic is also very useful in urban areas and well presented. But this area is my only complaint about the product contains. With the advanced transport caused little ‘, and occasionally appear on the screen. Are discrete and not much happensoften now, but I would find a way to disable them.
All in all, I love my new nuvi. And ‘one of the best purchases I’ve made in recent years.
