By ” Byron Walter “ First of all, is that the small screen is easy to see on The 3750 on a sunny day. Which currently can not read the text and see the maps. This certainly was not the case four years with my Nuvi 350 and the flat form factor makes it easy to fall into a pocket. These two points alone make this a major upgrade of my 350th geriatric There is also a taking speakers with decent volume in the windshield integrated Itty Bitty by 3750 speakers.

Now some points to cruise around my area-based … The 3750 seems way too little to the right of direct routes like the most. During a recent test, the unit gave me nearly a mile of my road for seven miles around. Well, it was seven miles, but the Nuvi has sent me eight miles. Tried to avoid traffic lights? I have no idea, but the trip lasted about seven minutes longer. My old 350 has never gone rogue with route calculation (well was that the ForestStreet, which once).
Another point is that 3750 will last up to four hours on its internal battery. Even in backlight set at 10%, so I get less.
Garmin also includes even a cheap vinyl case. I raised five U.S. dollars a Tom Tom case, its fine “in a free form.
The only manual with my Nuvi a quick start booklet micro more or less their own devices leave was to discover things. Fortunately, most of the functionsSelf-explanatory.

By ” Michael Corrado “ I was hesitant about buying 335TM cause of all negative opinions about what happens when you connect to your computer. Now I’ve had for about two weeks, and I am delighted with it. This is my first Portable GPS, so I have nothing to compare, but it has everything I expected in fact. It took me from North Carolina to Maine, including a trip to and from Boston without a hitch. When I deviate from the programmed path, and is reprogrammed with a modifiedRoute without difficulty. I was in Portland, Maine for a week last, and I moved from my home for Sam’s Club (surprisingly, one of many attractions in the database), for example, and know if I’m not an address that can look at next intersection. After a brief initial Füssing – was a short learning curve – I found it extremely easy to program.
I totally with what he has done for me so far satisfied. I can not imagineexpect more from a GPS device. But here’s the catch only: Because of the negative criticism I have tried to use my computer to download new maps. I have to do it soon, and if I get into trouble, I report here. I will do this, I should preface by saying that a million Moov200 3.5 “PND for some years and this year received a Magellan 1440 4.3″ PND. I sold the Magellan for a couple of reasons: It ’s been screen was where the needle was about 100 yards from the road and there was little adjustment.
The 335TM TomTom has almost everything you want in a PND. Maps life and traffic were big selling points. I like the fact that the map updates quarterly and FM receiver doesn traffic there are no pop-up ads, suchGarmin. Garmin has a brighter screen.
The IQ Routes works great. It seems that I would choose to have roads, if I had a GPS. The Magellan would somtimes Pick strange I guess it was only “faster”. The tomttom just seems smart to choose a path, even if it is a bit ’slower Garmin / Magellan.
The map graphics are not as good as Garmin and Magellan, but they are functional and informative. I love the dashboard display less distance to next turn in large numbers foreasy viewing. I like to go the distance, arrival time and display the speed here.
I like to add new POI categories and other sites. Super simple with TomTom. Magellan is a bit ’simple interface for searching the POI, however, TomTom gets the job done and as it is easier to use.
Customization: You can use predefined or custom colors on the map, items, etc. tons of material on the community TomTom HOME.
The Fold-n-Go dock is ok and I use it as a backup in the truck. I bought a betterassembly off eBay for about adjsutable and more rigid.
I recommend this GPS. It works really fun to play. (more…)

The GPS is fantastic, the appearance and softness of the iPhone is the superb sensitivity of the screen. I did an upgrade from Garmin 855, which has similar properties, but it was sometimes frustrating to use. The cards are great, voice command function is functioning properly and even though my family is from Europe (English is not the strongest language is used. Finally, I live in the Greater Boston area, and go to town once in a while. The setillites not be lost if all the tall buildings around.This is amazing, my other Garmin GPS always diversion in low-rise skyline, the DC-area traffic. A fair review I have to say that it is time to start stopping excellent, I can go for 2-3 minutes from my house, before he catches up with loalization satellite, in my perception is a little slower Than My garmis low.
